RISE Enterprise Architect - Driving Adoption and Business Outcomes

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a RISE Enterprise Architect - Driving Adoption and Business Outcomes based in United Kingdom.

As a RISE Enterprise Architect, you will guide large organizations through complex digital transformation journeys, connecting enterprise strategy with practical technology execution. You will shape future-state architectures, simplify IT landscapes, and help organizations adopt modern cloud and AI capabilities. A key focus will be driving Clean Core principles and enabling customers to unlock greater value from SAP solutions and the Business Technology Platform. You will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, translating architectural decisions into measurable business outcomes. Your expertise will help organizations increase agility, modernize their operations, and accelerate innovation while maximizing the value and adoption of their technology investments. This is a customer-facing leadership role within a collaborative environment focused on transformation, innovation, sustainability, and long-term customer success.

Accountabilities

  • Lead customers through end-to-end digital transformation journeys, connecting enterprise strategy, architecture, technology adoption, and execution.
  • Advise organizations on how to future-proof their IT landscapes by simplifying architectures, modernizing technology, and creating foundations for sustainable innovation.
  • Collaboratively assess current application and business capabilities and develop target enterprise architecture models aligned with relevant industry reference architectures.
  • Drive Clean Core adoption by reducing system complexity, consolidating landscapes, and streamlining business processes.
  • Enable customers to maximize the value of the Business Technology Platform through integration, extensibility, process optimization, and effective technology adoption.
  • Advise customers on the adoption of AI capabilities and help organizations identify opportunities to embed AI into their transformation strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor across business and IT functions, aligning technology decisions with strategic objectives and measurable business value.
  • Engage senior stakeholders to influence architectural direction, resolve complex transformation challenges, and build alignment across multiple organizational functions.
  • Drive technology adoption and consumption to help customers realize value from their cloud investments and support successful subscription renewals.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists and customer teams to translate architectural strategy into tangible transformation outcomes.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, customer success stories, and strategic initiatives that demonstrate the value of enterprise architecture and digital transformation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in customer-facing technology roles, such as Enterprise Architecture, Program Management, Solution Architecture, Customer Engagement, or Customer Advisory.
  • Significant experience delivering SAP implementations and transformations as a consultant, program director, enterprise architect, or internal IT leader.
  • Proven track record of helping customers and senior stakeholders adopt technology solutions to unlock measurable business value and maximize technology consumption.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale business transformations through large-scale application implementations and technology programs.
  • Strong technical and/or functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ideally gained through active or recent transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and the ability to connect business strategy, application landscapes, technology capabilities, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with senior business and IT stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to navigate large, complex organizations with multiple decision-makers and competing priorities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong business acumen, technical credibility, and empathy for customer challenges.
  • Experience with SAP LeanIX and Signavio for documenting enterprise architectures and business processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud solutions and business capabilities is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform, including BTP Integration Suite and BTP Build, is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as the SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework, SAP Certified Professional – Enterprise Architect, or TOGAF are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as required by customer engagements.
