Risk Administrator Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Risk Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Risk Management Team within the Patient Safety Directorate. This is a secondment opportunity for 6 months.

Role Overview

Working under the direction of the Risk Manager, you will contribute to the effective administration of all risk management processes, including incident reporting, investigations, Patient Safety Reviews, Duty of Candour, and maintenance of the Risk Management Database (Datix).

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for enquiries
• Support the coordination of meetings
• Maintain accurate records
• Ensure data quality standards are met
• Support safe, effective, and well-governed services by ensuring timely and accurate handling of risk management information

Key Tasks

• Provide administrative support to the Risk Management Team, including handling enquiries and triaging inboxes
• Maintain accurate incident and risk-related data on Datix and support data quality processes
• Assist with meeting administration, including agendas, minutes, and document distribution
• Produce and share Datix reports and support user access and basic system queries
• Support the administration of Patient Safety Incident Investigations and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage documentation in line with Trust Records Management Policy
• Prioritise own workload and contribute to efficient risk management processes across the team
