Job Description

This role is essentially a Project Risk Analyst position focused on supporting major projects in a highly regulated environment.

The Project Risk Analyst supports the effective delivery of major projects by coordinating the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of project risks and opportunities. Working within established risk management frameworks, the role provides risk management support to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring that risks are understood, managed, and communicated throughout the project lifecycle.

The role reports to the Senior Risk Manager and works closely with project managers, engineers, planners, cost managers, and client representatives.

Qualifications

Qualification, Special Skills or Experience:

  • Relevant academic (e.g. BSc/MSc) or vocational qualification (HNC/HND) with related professional experience.
  • Basic experience of Project Management and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) - promoting the wider public good in all actions, acting in a morally, legally and socially appropriate manner in dealings with stakeholders and members of project teams and the organisation.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of project risk management methodologies, processes and systems.
  • Good written and oral language skills in order to articulate technical issues associated to work area.
  • Ability to apply policy & procedure, standards and working practices appropriate to allotted tasks and associated documentation.
  • Knowledge and understanding of problem solving and risk management techniques.

SC Clearance required (pending will be accepted). Sole UK national. Umbrella Contract. Must be prepared to travel to Coulport up to 3 days a week.
