Risk Analyst

TPT Retirement Solutions are looking for a Risk Analyst to help strengthen and evolve our risk management approach across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a risk professional who enjoys analysing complex information, influencing stakeholders and supporting effective governance and decision-making.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll help identify, assess and monitor risks, provide insightful reporting, and support the ongoing development of our risk management framework. You'll also work with Pension Scheme Trustees and governance committees to ensure key risks, controls and actions are effectively managed and reported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the risk management framework.
  • Maintaining and enhancing risk registers, reporting and monitoring tools.
  • Analysing risk data to identify trends, themes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to support effective risk management practices.
  • Providing constructive challenge on the effectiveness of controls, policies and processes.
  • Preparing risk reports and insights for senior leaders, committees and Trustees.
  • Supporting governance activities, including committee meetings, agendas and minutes.
  • Promoting a positive and informed approach to risk-taking across the organisation.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working within pensions, financial services or another regulated industry and working with Pensions Trustees is essential.
  • Experience identifying, assessing and managing operational, regulatory, financial or reputational risks.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and positively influence stakeholders.
  • Experience providing constructive challenge to improve risk management outcomes.
  • Understanding of Pension Scheme Trustee governance structures and decision-making processes.
  • Experience preparing and presenting risk information to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience using risk management tools and reporting systems, including Excel and Power Query.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.

We welcome applications from candidates with relevant risk, governance, compliance or financial services qualifications. Professional qualifications such as IRM, MBCI or equivalent are desirable.
