Role: Fractional Risk Analyst

At Humiint, we partner with growing companies that are making high-stakes decisions but lack the data-driven foresight to see what could go wrong. Whether it’s evaluating the financial exposure of a new market entry, stress-testing a portfolio, or quantifying operational vulnerabilities, the right Fractional Risk Analyst turns uncertainty into calculated strategy.

We’re looking to connect with analytical thinkers and quantitative experts who know how to measure the invisible. If you are an expert at building predictive models, running complex scenario analyses, and translating raw data into actionable mitigation plans, this is a great opportunity to apply your forecasting skills flexibly while protecting the downside for ambitious organizations.

This role is ideal for experienced quantitative analysts, risk modeling experts, or financial strategists who want to evaluate exposure and build mitigation frameworks for multiple companies on a part-time, project-based, or advisory retainer basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Aggregating and analyzing historical and real-time data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas of business exposure.
  • Scenario Modeling: Building and running stress tests to evaluate how the organization would perform under various adverse economic or operational conditions.
  • Risk Quantification: Assigning concrete financial or operational metrics to identified vulnerabilities to help leadership prioritize mitigation efforts.
  • Portfolio Assessment: Evaluating the concentration of risk within a specific set of assets, clients, or business units to ensure adequate diversification.
  • Mitigation Strategy: Collaborating with department heads to design and implement actionable plans that reduce the impact or likelihood of identified threats.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Developing dynamic reporting frameworks that give executive leadership a clear, ongoing view of the organization's risk profile.
  • Market Monitoring: Continuously tracking macroeconomic indicators, industry shifts, and broader market events that could impact the company's strategic objectives.
  • Investment Evaluation: Providing objective risk assessments on proposed capital expenditures, mergers, or major corporate initiatives before funds are committed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
