Risk Analyst – Fintech & Payments
📍 London | Hybrid

I’m currently supporting a growing fintech and payments business with the hire of a Risk Analyst to join their wider Risk & Compliance function. This is a broad role offering exposure across operational and enterprise risk within a fast-paced, regulated payments environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the identification, assessment and monitoring of operational and enterprise risks
- Maintaining risk registers, controls and risk assessments
- Supporting RCSAs, control testing and remediation tracking
- Monitoring KRIs, risk appetite metrics and emerging risk trends
- Supporting incident and control-failure reviews
- Producing risk MI and reporting for senior stakeholders and governance forums
- Working closely with Compliance, Financial Crime, Fraud, Operations, Product and Technology teams
- Supporting risk assessments around new products, processes and third parties
- Helping strengthen the overall risk framework and risk culture across the business

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience within Risk, Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk or Risk & Controls
- Background within fintech, payments, banking, EMI or another regulated financial services environment
- Good understanding of risk frameworks, controls, RCSAs and KRIs
- Strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-moving environment

Experience within an FCA-regulated EMI or payments business would be particularly valuable, as would exposure to Financial Crime, Fraud, Operational Resilience or Third-Party Risk.
