Role Context

Worley is seeking a Project Risk Analyst to support the delivery of effective risk management services across multiple projects and project portfolios. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk, the role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project risk management activities throughout the project lifecycle, including pre-contract phases.

Working closely with project delivery teams, project controls, commercial, engineering, construction, and client stakeholders, the successful candidate will facilitate risk identification, assessment, analysis, and reporting activities, helping project teams make informed decisions and proactively manage threats and opportunities. The role will also support the development and mentoring of junior risk professionals while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the wider risk management community.

You Will Do

  • Deliver project risk management services across multiple concurrent projects and scopes.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor Risk Management Plans, Risk Registers, and associated project documentation.
  • Facilitate project risk identification sessions using a variety of risk assessment techniques.
  • Support project teams in establishing project risk objectives aligned with overall project goals.
  • Develop and implement risk assessment criteria and maintain project risk registers.
  • Assist Risk Owners in developing risk response strategies and mitigation action plans.
  • Facilitate project risk workshops and ensure accurate capture and maintenance of risk information.
  • Conduct qualitative risk assessments and quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses.
  • Build and maintain risk models, interpret outputs, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Support project teams in the use of risk management software tools and processes.
  • Prepare and issue timely risk reports, dashboards, and associated documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide risk management expertise and guidance.
  • Support decision analysis activities where appropriate to improve project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of risk management tools, systems, and procedures.
  • Support regional and global risk management initiatives, workshops, and lessons learned activities.
  • Mentor and support junior risk management personnel in their professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with project teams, business stakeholders, and client representatives.

You'll Have

  • Higher National Diploma, Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • IRM International Certificate in Risk Management, alternative risk qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Typically 5+ years' experience in project risk management across major projects or multiple concurrent project scopes.
  • Strong experience facilitating risk workshops and risk identification exercises.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative risk assessment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis tools.
  • Experience within engineering, infrastructure, energy, construction, or similar project-based industries.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to confidently facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to challenge project teams constructively and drive effective risk management outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with clients and project teams.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Degree qualification in Risk Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of EPC/EPCM project delivery environments and industry-standard risk management tools would be beneficial.
