Third Party Risk Analyst

About the Role

Are you passionate about data and supplier risk? We’re seeking a data-led and proactive Third Party Risk Analyst to drive efficient, proportionate, and insight-driven third-party risk activity.

In this role, you will:

  • Gather, organise, and assess supplier information
  • Identify key risk signals
  • Support swift, evidence-based escalations for clear decision-making
  • Collaborate with consultants, senior managers, and cross-team stakeholders

Working across procurement, legal, supplier management, and the wider business, you’ll leverage structured data, dashboards, and workflow tools to enhance risk assessment, reporting, and process efficiency.

The role focuses on delivering Precise, timely, and actionable risk analysis, ensuring Nationwide delivers accurate, effective, and proportionate third-party risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide data-driven insights to evaluate and escalate third-party risks
  • Work with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to optimise:
    • Evidence gathering
    • Preliminary risk analysis
    • Reporting
    • Process automation
  • Support policy compliance and consistent risk controls
  • Contribute to workflow improvements to enhance working efficiency
  • Collaborate with teams to design data pipelines and dashboards that improve decision-making

Required Skills & Experience

  • Passion for data analysis and a proactive approach to risk assessment
  • Experience with data tools (Power BI, Excel) or similar analytics platforms
  • Strong communication skills—ability to explain complex risk findings adaptably
  • Detail-oriented mindset, with an eye for identifying emerging risks
  • Experience supporting procurement, compliance, or operational risk teams (desirable)
