Navantia UK is a UK incorporated company, subsidiary of Spanish Navantia, created to work with UK industrial partners in shipbuilding, defence and in offshore wind energy. With a history that goes back more than 300 hundred years, Navantia is a world reference in the design, building, integration and life cycle support of state-of-the-art war ships for the Spanish Navy and international customers and has extensive experience in ToT programmes.
Job Description
Research e-learning tools and platforms suitable for internal staff training (e.g., office staff, engineers, and tradespeople)
- Develop a short feasibility report outlining options, costs, and recommendations
- Work alongside the L&D team to understand the content of current face-to-face sessions
- Create a prototype or draft digital learning module for one key topic area
- Present findings and draft outputs to stakeholders at the end of the placement
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to applicants from a range of backgrounds, including:
- Students or recent graduates in instructional design, digital media, education, HR, communications, or a related field
- Strong interest in digital learning, education technology, or user experience
- Confident using digital tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, video editing, or similar software)
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn—we don’t expect you to know everything already
