About The Role

Risk and Compliance Administrator

Location: Manchester – Media City, Salford Quays

Contract Type: Perm

Hybrid: Whilst completing your training you will be required to attend our Media City office daily. Once successfully completing all training the role will be on a hybrid basis with 1 to 2 days per week in the office.

What will I be doing?

Duties

Work closely with the Risk & Compliance Manager to provide administration support undertaking all administration duties as requested and be prepared to use a high degree of self-management and initiative. Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Assisting the organisation of client audits
  • Completing client questionnaire and due diligences
  • Updating and maintaining databases and folder structures
  • Logging and Investigating incidents and writing up incident reports
  • Review contracts and NDAs
  • Assist with Practicing Certificate and Insurance Renewals
  • Maintain, and apply in your day to day role, a level of understanding of the SRA, Law Society of Scotland, Law Society of Northern Ireland and Law Society of Ireland regulations
  • Promote best practice at all times, acting as a positive role model for the firm's ethos and values
  • Maintain strict confidentiality surrounding all projects
  • Ensure documents, logs, and spreadsheets are updated accurately and actions chased
  • Liaise and fact find with the business as needed
  • Schedule and prepare documents, presentations, and statistics for meetings
  • Attend meetings, take minutes and follow up action logs where appropriate with team members
  • Collaboratively work with colleagues from across the business and confidently engage with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Comply with and ensure personal awareness of the relevant firm standards, policies and working practices as set out in the firms training material and intranet policies page
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and client documentation and information in compliance with all DPA requirements
  • From time to time, you will be required to carry out other ad hoc projects and duties as requested by your Manager

What do I need?

If you are hardworking, self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a successful team, but can also work independently using your initiative, then we can help you build a long and rewarding career with HF! We would ideally be looking to hear from those who have previous experience as a Risk & Compliance Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.

Having strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite programs, is essential for success in this role. You will have excellent organisational abilities that allow you to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Coupled with an ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
