Verification Operations Analyst – 12-Month Contract

Location: Brock Street, London – 100% onsite
Contract: 12 months
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm

Join a global technology company’s Verification Operations team in London, supporting risk- and compliance-focused programmes across identity, advertiser and account verification. This role is highly analytical, with a strong focus on root cause analysis (RCA), operational insights and process improvement.

The successful candidate will have an investigations background with strong operational analysis, root cause analysis, incident management and communication skills, fraud, alongside experience in large-scale documentation; experience in scams, policy or identity verification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) on business-impacting incidents, workflow escalations and verification cases.
  • Analyse operational data, metrics and trends to identify patterns, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide actionable operational insights to programme managers, policy, product, compliance and leadership teams.
  • Investigate verification decisions and workflows, working with internal teams and third-party vendor partners.
  • Translate RCA findings into process improvements, engineering changes and operational enhancements.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, post-mortems and onboarding materials.
  • Support strategic risk, compliance and verification initiatives across Account Access, Scams, Advertiser Verification and Identity Verification programmes.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years’ experience in operations analysis, investigations, content moderation, risk management or a related field.
  • Proven experience conducting root cause analysis and investigating operational or incident-related issues.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with experience using metrics and reporting to identify trends and insights.
  • Experience in content moderation and/or operational environments with high-volume workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to different stakeholders.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Experience with data analysis/reporting tools, fraud prevention, identity verification, compliance or vendor operations is highly desirable.
