We are looking for detail-oriented Risk Assessment Specialists to build our team. The selected candidates will be responsible for horizon scanning and emerging risk assessments, food fraud risk assessments, raw material risk assessments as well as establish and manage annual testing programs for raw materials and finished products, participating on HACCP teams and assisting with issues. Reporting to the Quality and Food Safety Manager, you will also collaborate and liaise with international quality and food safety team members, to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and sharing best quality practices.

Please note this is a 12 months, fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments, sampling plans, and quality testing for raw materials and third-party products.
- Monitor regulatory updates and provide risk insights, reports, and action plans to management.
- Manage testing data, trade association requests, and analytical compliance activities.
- Support food fraud, emerging risk, and HACCP assessments to improve product safety.
- Develop and deliver testing guidelines and quality training for new products and processes.
- Manage end-to-end specifications for third-party manufactured materials and finished goods.
- Create, maintain, and improve quality procedures, standards, and work instructions.
- Conduct internal audits and provide risk assessment to ensure compliance.
- Manage relationships with testing laboratories and support scientific studies for innovation projects.
- Promote a robust food safety and quality culture through continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills, Knowledge and Proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years’ experience in the food industry, ideally within Quality Assurance.
- Solid knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and quality management systems.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and managing testing programs.
- Knowledge of product specification development and management.
- Good communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard business applications.
