Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll work with predominantly not-for-profit and public sector organisations to evaluate how well risks are being managed, how the business is running, and if current internal processes are sufficient or could be improved. The work of the team covers all aspects of client performance, from Board level governance, strategic planning and value for money, to HR, health and safety and front-line operations, and complements the work on financial control and the financial statements undertaken by the client’s corporate auditors.

Alongside gaining hands-on experience, you’ll work towards a recognised professional qualification relevant to your role, helping you build the technical knowledge and practical skills you’ll need as your career develops.

Depending on your pathway, you may start with either the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors Foundations of Internal Auditing (FIA) or the Internal Audit Practitioner (IAP) qualification.

Both routes are designed to give you a strong professional foundation to work towards the full Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation, combining structured learning with the opportunity to apply what you learn in your day-to-day work. You’ll be supported throughout your studies.

Please note this role is due to start in January 2027.
