Who We Are Looking For

Quanteam UK are seeking a Risk IT.NET Developer to join a Credit Risk Analytics team responsible for designing, integrating and supporting Middle Office Risk systems, based in London. The team supports a third-party financial risk analytics simulation and pricing engine that provides cross-asset coverage for calculating Credit Risk measures, distributed via Kubernetes with Python-based Coordinator and Job Runner components, and integrated into the wider technology estate through an in-house.NET based application layer. The underlying infrastructure combines Microsoft SQL Server, C#, Python and Microsoft Azure, and the team is engaged in an ongoing programme of enhancements to the Risk IT platform to meet the demands of regulatory change, alongside efforts to adopt cloud and other digital technologies. The successful candidate will focus on developing the platform using new technologies to improve the capabilities of Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extending Credit Risk pricing calculators to support additional products and scenarios.
  • Upgrading the legacy codebase to .NET Core.
  • Undertaking performance tuning of existing applications and services.
  • Performing rigorous testing of the codebase, including unit and integration testing.
  • Supporting the rollout of further enhancements to the Risk IT platform to meet ongoing regulatory change.
  • Implementing PFE analytic solutions, preferably in cloud computing environments.
  • Pricing Derivatives, Mortgage-Backed Securities, Repos, Stock Borrow Lending and Agency Lending products using the risk/pricing platform.
  • Reconciling Credit Risk exposures between the Risk Engine and reporting systems.
  • Planning, managing and mentoring junior developers.
  • Writing technical scope documents and test plans.
  • Providing cross-functional training and support to other members of the team.
  • Supporting Credit Risk processes overnight and at weekends following releases, and resolving production issues within agreed service levels.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
