Who are we?

Lumon's mission is to become the world's most trusted currency partner.

Businesses and individuals move money across borders through us, whether that's paying an overseas supplier or sending money home to family. We back it with technology that does the heavy lifting and people who actually know your situation.

We're growing fast across the UK and Europe, and building the kind of workplace people stay for.

What will you be doing?

Supporting the Head of Risk and Compliance in the operation and continuous improvement of Lumon's Enterprise Risk Management framework, this role provides support across second-line risk activities for all three of Lumon’s regulated entities.

You will be part of the Risk & Compliance team, working closely with the business areas to understand and document their risks and controls, delivering an effective risk management programme for Lumon.

Some of the key activities you can expect include:

  • Supporting second-line oversight of the ERM framework, including maintenance of risk registers, through ongoing engagement with and challenge to first-line risk owners
  • Tracking, monitoring and reporting of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) – including operational resilience and cyber risk indicators – emerging risks, and Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs)
  • Supporting the incident management process and reporting – including root cause analysis, tracking remedial actions to timely resolution, and supporting assessment of regulatory notification requirements and thresholds across the FCA, CBI and DORA reporting regimes where applicable
  • Supporting the implementation of actions arising from second- and third-line assurance reviews
  • Producing MI and reports on risk exposures, KRI trends, incident data and RCSA outcomes for Risk Committee and Board reporting
  • Supporting assessment of outsourcing and third-party supplier arrangements, including initial and periodic reviews, materiality/criticality classification, and consideration of DORA ICT third-party requirements where relevant
  • Supporting operational resilience activities, including maintenance of important/critical business services mapping, impact tolerance monitoring, and self-assessment and testing
  • Supporting business continuity and disaster recovery activities, including coordination of testing schedules and maintenance of related documentation
  • Supporting maintenance of Lumon's policy framework, ensuring policies are reviewed and updated on schedule by policy owners
  • Assisting with updates to Lumon's Risk and Compliance policies as necessary

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
