About the Role
Our client located on the Hertfordshire/Essex border are looking to recruit a detail-driven and proactive Risk & Compliance Lawyer from between 2- 6 years experience within a similar role.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages in their career who are looking to establish and build expertise across data protection, AML, regulatory compliance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling day to day data protection compliance matters
- Managing subject access requests and supporting the response to potential data breaches
- Supporting the firms onboarding processes
- Conducting AML and KYC checks
- Assist with ongoing AML compliance in line with UK regulatory requirements
- Manage and respond to risk queries
- Supporting and drafting responses to client complaints
- File audits
- Compliance reviews

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience between 2- 6 years within a law firm
- Law degree or equivalent
- Have attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Willing to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment
Benefits
- Salary in the region of £52,000 - £65,000 and open for discussion
- Hybrid working after completion of probationary period
