About the Role
Lloyd & Whyte, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Risk & Compliance Manager to join our Group Risk & Compliance team remotely.
As a Risk & Compliance Manager, you will deliver the Annual Compliance Monitoring Programme and provide ongoing compliance awareness to our people in support of the business strategy through effective management and leadership of the team.
Please note that whilst we are happy to consider this being a remote role, quarterly presence will be required at our across our UK offices. Further details can be discussed at interview stage.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and deliver the Risk & Compliance framework, ensuring adherence to FCA, Data Protection, financial crime, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage compliance monitoring, audits, risk assessments, regulatory reporting, and the investigation of breaches, complaints, and control weaknesses.
- Oversee compliance approvals and governance processes, ensuring customer-focused, compliant communications, financial promotions, and business activities.
- Deliver and maintain the Training & Competence programme, providing guidance, coaching, and regulatory training to support a strong compliance culture.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying risks, enhancing controls and processes, promoting best practice, and supporting the achievement of business objectives and regulatory standards.

What You'll Need to Have
- Proven experience operating within a regulated environment, with a strong understanding of FCA regulations, including Consumer Duty, Conduct Risk and wider compliance requirements.
- Strong people leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing teams while fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, present, build relationships and deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
- Sound commercial awareness and knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels and business processes, balancing regulatory obligations with business objectives.
- Exceptional organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, lead projects and drive continuous improvement using data and insight.
