Atlas HXM is the global workforce platform built on compliance. We help companies determine how to engage each member of their workforce and then execute with accountability built in — direct Employer of Record (EOR), Agent of Record (AOR), payroll, and compliance capabilities backed by a decade of practitioner-led expertise. Recognized as a category Leader by NelsonHall and Everest Group, Atlas HXM builds Human Experience Management into everything we do, guided by our "For People, by People" principle.

The future of work is borderless, and so are we. Our people are located around the globe — in the U.S., the UK, India, Colombia, China, and beyond. Diversity and belonging are not just values; they are who we are.

We are also committed to making a positive impact. Through our Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) impact initiative, we are addressing our environmental footprint and promoting social responsibility. Our impact program is central to our vision and culture, focusing on employee wellness, diversity, charitable work, and ethical corporate governance.

About the role:

As the Risk & Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Atlas' Health & Safety (H&S) program across 160+ Atlas countries. You will work closely with the Director of Risk & Compliance to design and implement a global occupational health & safety (OHS) program from the ground up, tailored to the diverse industries and risk profiles of Atlas' EOR client base. As a key member of the Risk & Compliance team, you will manage enterprise-wide H&S risk mitigation projects and lead the development and localization of H&S corporate policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance & Regulatory Monitoring – Monitor, interpret, and implement OHS legislation and standards across jurisdictions, ensuring Atlas meets or exceeds local regulatory requirements. Educate internal departments on obligations and build cross-functional relationships to embed compliance.
  • Hazard & Risk Assessment – Conduct workplace hazard identification and risk assessments across varied client industries and work environments (office, remote, field, industrial), and coordinate mitigation efforts with relevant departments for both existing operations and new business opportunities.
  • Sales Partnership for New Industries – Partner with Sales to assess H&S risk and readiness when Atlas expands into new industries or client verticals, providing input on deal feasibility, risk tiering, and any additional due diligence or safety controls needed before onboarding.
  • Research & Regulatory Intelligence – Lead the research component of the H&S program, maintaining a database of country-specific OHS rules, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Incident Management & Investigation – Manage rollout of the H&S incident management module in Atlas' Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tool; support incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action tracking. Train Operations teams on utilization and incident recording.
  • Safety Training & Awareness – Support the design and delivery of OHS training programs (e.g., workplace safety, ergonomics, emergency response) for employees and client-facing teams, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Anti-Harassment & Psychosocial Safety – Ensure H&S research and policy incorporate local anti-harassment and psychosocial risk requirements; support development of localized policies.
  • Policies, SOPs & Frameworks – Develop and maintain OHS policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with international safety standards (e.g., ISO 45001) and industry best practice.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with HR/HRSD, Operations, Legal & Compliance, and Data Privacy to ensure H&S requirements are understood and operationalized globally.
  • Enterprise Risk Projects – Manage enterprise-wide H&S risk mitigation projects as assigned.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
