IAC Exclusively Recruits for a Risk & Compliance Manager

IAC have been exclusively engaged by a leading infrastructure organisation to recruit for an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager in a high exposure stand-alone role.

This is a varied role where you'll lead the organisation's risk and compliance framework, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive best practice, strengthen governance and ensure regulatory compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the organisation's risk and compliance framework.
  • Manage corporate risk registers, monitor trends and ensure timely completion of actions.
  • Provide practical risk and compliance advice to stakeholders across the business.
  • Develop and deliver compliance policies, procedures and training.
  • Coordinate the internal audit programme and support regulatory compliance activities.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and ensure appropriate business responses.
  • Prepare reports for executive and board-level committees.
  • Promote a strong culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management and/or compliance within a regulated or complex environment outside of financial services, and be confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and compliance principles.
  • Good understanding of GDPR and data protection legislation.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience within the infrastructure sector.
  • Additional language skills.
