About The Role

As a Risk Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in helping our Partner Practices grow safely and sustainably by championing a forward-looking, data-led approach to risk management. Acting as a trusted risk specialist, you'll work closely with Partner Practices and internal stakeholders to identify, assess and mitigate risks, while supporting the implementation of regulatory requirements and best practice.

This is a varied and influential role that combines risk expertise with stakeholder engagement, enabling you to make a meaningful impact across our Partnership. You'll provide guidance on regulatory matters, identify emerging risks and trends, and help drive positive outcomes for both our Partners and clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver Partner Engagement Programmes and Firm Reviews on both an annual and ad hoc basis.
  • Support Partner Practices in understanding and implementing regulatory change, internal risk processes and governance requirements.
  • Use your risk expertise to identify, assess and help resolve risks across Partner Practices and the wider business.
  • Analyse available data to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Escalate breaches requiring formal investigation to the Second Line Investigation team.
  • Coordinate and monitor corrective actions to ensure identified issues are addressed and do not reoccur.
  • Collaborate with First Line teams, including Supervision, Academy, Early Years and Business Partnering, to provide risk guidance and support.
  • Contribute to internal audits, lessons learned exercises and oversight reviews to ensure robust risk management practices are maintained.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
