Civiel Group is an independent consultancy working at the intersection of people, performance, business, and law for clients across the UK. The firm supports organisations in managing people-related challenges, employment matters, business risk, and commercially complex decisions. Civiel’s services cover people and HR consultancy, employee relations and employment risk, business risk and commercial advisory, as well as dispute-related support. The team prioritises context-driven, assumption-challenging, and solution-oriented thinking to deliver support that works in practice.

Role Description

The Risk Management Consultant will provide advisory support to clients on business risk, employment-related risk, and organisational decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves:

  • Preparing risk reports
  • Developing mitigation strategies
  • Contributing to enterprise risk management frameworks tailored to client needs

The specialist will:

  • Collaborate closely with consultants and client stakeholders
  • Communicate findings clearly
  • Support dispute-related and complex organisational matters within the scope of Civiel Group’s expertise

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the at home, with a mix of on-site client and team work and some work from home.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and proven experience in Risk Analysis to assess complex business, people, and employment scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Risk Management practices, including risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation.
  • Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present risk findings and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Finance principles as they relate to business risk, commercial decisions, and organisational performance.
  • Experience in consultancy, professional services, or a related advisory environment is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of UK employment and business practices; familiarity with legal and regulatory considerations is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting, managing multiple client priorities and deadlines.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in risk management, business, finance, law, or a related field is preferred.
