About Us

A London-based consultancy delivering high-impact services in project controls and digital transformation. We specialise in simplifying complexities, driving efficiency and providing data-driven actionable insights to facilitate better decision-making and project outcomes.

With extensive experience and expertise, complemented by the capabilities of our associate partners, we challenge the status quo and deliver value-driven solutions tailored to our clients’ needs. Our clients come from a range of sectors, including rail, infrastructure, utilities (water, oil, gas, electric, renewables and nuclear), construction and government.

We are known for our collaborative, values-driven and future-focused approach. We care deeply about our impact and bring that same mindset to the projects we work on.

Role Description

A hybrid role based in London (with travel as required and flexibility for some home-working).

We are supporting a major infrastructure programme and are looking to appoint an experienced intermediate level Risk Manager to join a high-profile engineering and delivery team. Based at project offices in Central London (EC2), this 6-month contract offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, combining office and home-based working with occasional visits to project and supplier sites.

As Risk Manager, you will be responsible for driving and embedding robust risk management processes across the programme's engineering and delivery functions. Working closely with technical teams, project controls, PMO, suppliers and senior stakeholders, you will ensure risks, opportunities and emerging trends are identified, managed and reported effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving the implementation of the programme engineering risk process to ensure visibility, transparency and control of engineering risk across delivery.
  • Integrating risk and opportunity management activities with project controls, PMO functions and efficiency/avoidance initiatives.
  • Maintaining programme engineering risk dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Leading the transversal management of engineering-related risks across the programme.
  • Developing new risk and trend management processes in collaboration with suppliers and delivery partners.
  • Facilitating risk identification, assessment and mitigation workshops.
  • Supporting governance, assurance and reporting activities for senior leadership.
  • Building strong relationships with technical, commercial and project stakeholders to promote a proactive risk culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
