This isn't a place for complacency, it’s a place to be pushed past your perceived limits. Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only company. Expect to get together quarterly for intense in-person working sessions called “surges.” learn more about working at Coinbase.

Role Overview

As a Risk & Monitoring Analyst III on the Operational Risk and Controls team within Global Financial Crimes Operations, you'll own quality assurance reviews of Complaints case investigations, including formal, legal, and litigation matters, that support Coinbase's AML/CFT program. You'll strengthen consistency in case execution, surface procedural gaps, and partner across Operations, Compliance, Analytics, and Learning & Development to turn quality insights into measurable operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete weekly QA audit allocations in line with established procedures and grading standards, providing detailed documentation of errors identified and their root causes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and deep dives into operational procedures to identify recurring themes, knowledge gaps, and opportunities to upskill team performance across the Complaints function.
  • Partner with stakeholders across CX, Compliance, Data Analytics, and L&D to close process gaps, launch workflow improvements, and enhance QA rubrics and frameworks.
  • Build and present QA insights, recommendations, and performance metrics to Client Service Management and Complaints leadership, using data to drive prioritization and decision-making.
  • Deliver impact analysis and project execution on process improvement initiatives, ensuring outcomes are documented and scalable across the function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
