A leading specialist insurance organisation is seeking a Senior Risk Officer to join its Enterprise Risk Management function, reporting to the Head of ERM.

The role will involve working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing second-line risk oversight and challenge and supporting the development and implementation of the organisation’s risk framework.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the ORSA process and associated reporting.
  • Delivering Special Risk Assessments and presenting findings to relevant committees.
  • Supporting the ERM Framework, Risk Appetite Framework and RCSA processes.
  • Producing and analysing key risk information and management reporting.
  • Providing risk challenge through stakeholder meetings, project boards and risk reviews.
  • Promoting consistent risk management practices across the wider organisation.

The ideal candidate will have strong ERM/risk management experience, excellent stakeholder and communication skills, strong analytical and report-writing abilities, and ideally experience within insurance or the London Market.
