About the Company

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll play a key role in supporting risk management activities, influencing decision-making, and helping to strengthen risk governance across a diverse and complex insurance portfolio. This is a highly visible position offering exposure to senior leadership, strategic projects, and a broad range of enterprise and operational risks.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to provide effective risk oversight, challenge and support.
  • Conduct risk reviews and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Support key risk management processes including ORSA and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Assist with Board and Risk Committee reporting.
  • Monitor emerging risks, regulatory developments and industry trends.
  • Promote a strong risk culture across the organisation.
  • Evaluate control environments and support enhancements to risk and control frameworks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of technology and AI-driven efficiencies.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulation and risk frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The confidence to challenge constructively and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • A curious mindset and genuine interest in improving processes and driving innovation.
