Risk Reporting Business Analyst – Investment Banking
Global Investment Bank
Rate: £600/day
Location: London – 4 days per week in office
Contract: 6 months (View to extend)
We are supporting a leading global investment bank in the search for a Risk Reporting Business Analyst to join a key change programme in London. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst with solid core BA skills and a good understanding of Risk Reporting, particularly those who have worked on Risk Reporting migration programmes.
The role will sit across Business, Risk and Technology teams, supporting requirements gathering, analysis and delivery across Risk Reporting change. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong Business Analysis fundamentals alongside experience of Risk Reporting environments and previous reporting migrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements across Risk Reporting change
- Work closely with Risk, Business and Technology stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
- Support the migration of Risk Reporting processes, data and outputs
- Analyse existing reporting processes and identify impacts associated with migration
- Produce clear business requirements, process documentation and supporting analysis
- Work with stakeholders to define and validate target-state reporting requirements
- Support testing, issue resolution and implementation activities
- Identify dependencies, risks and potential impacts across reporting changes
- Coordinate with technology and data teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Ensure requirements and reporting changes are clearly documented and traceable

Required Experience
- Strong Business Analysis experience within a complex financial services environment
- Good understanding of Risk Reporting and associated processes
- Previous experience working on Risk Reporting migrations
- Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills
- Experience working across Business, Risk, Data and Technology teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to understand complex processes, data flows and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting change through to implementation

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within an investment bank or major financial institution
- Experience working on large-scale Risk or Regulatory Reporting change
- Exposure to reporting, data or technology migration programmes
- Experience working with complex data flows and reporting infrastructure
- Understanding of Risk functions and their reporting requirements
- Experience across Agile or structured change environments
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Business Analyst to join a global investment bank and work on a significant Risk Reporting change programme. The role would suit someone with a strong BA background who can combine core Business Analysis skills with practical experience of Risk Reporting and migrations.
