Risk Reporting Business Analyst – Snowflake Migration

Global Investment Bank

Rate: £600/day
Location: London – 4 days per week in office
Contract: 6 months (View to extend)

We are supporting a leading global investment bank in the search for a Risk Reporting Business Analyst to join a significant technology and data transformation programme in London. The role will focus on Risk Reporting within a major migration programme to Snowflake, working across Risk, Business, Data and Technology teams to analyse existing reporting processes, define target-state requirements and support the migration of reporting data and outputs onto a modern data platform.

This is a technical Business Analyst role within Risk Reporting, and we are particularly interested in candidates who can combine strong BA fundamentals and Risk Reporting knowledge with an understanding of data, reporting architecture and migration programmes. Snowflake experience is highly desirable, particularly where candidates have worked on data warehouse, reporting or platform migrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Risk, Business, Data and Technology stakeholders to understand and define Risk Reporting requirements.
  • Analyse existing Risk Reporting processes, data flows, reports and downstream dependencies.
  • Support the migration of Risk Reporting data and reporting processes onto Snowflake.
  • Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements for the target reporting environment.
  • Translate business and Risk Reporting requirements into clear technical and data requirements for technology teams.
  • Understand existing and target-state data flows, transformations, interfaces and reporting outputs.
  • Identify data, process and reporting impacts associated with the migration.
  • Work with Data Engineers, Developers and Technology teams to ensure reporting requirements are correctly translated into the target solution.
  • Support data mapping, source-to-target analysis and reconciliation activities.
  • Define and validate target-state Risk Reporting processes and requirements.
  • Support testing, data validation, issue investigation and resolution throughout the migration.
  • Identify dependencies, risks and potential impacts across Risk Reporting, data and technology changes.
  • Ensure requirements, data mappings, processes and reporting changes are clearly documented and traceable.
  • Support delivery through implementation and transition into the target Risk Reporting environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
