The Risk Systems and Solutions Technical Lead

The Risk Systems and Solutions Technical Lead is responsible for the design, development, integration and technical support of the firm's Risk Systems landscape. The role provides deep technical expertise across Intapp Intake, Conflicts and Terms, Elite 3E and associated enterprise integrations, delivering secure, resilient and maintainable solutions that improve business acceptance, risk management and operational efficiency.

Team

Kennedys IT team is responsible for delivery of a responsive, effective and timely IT support service to the firm's employees and clients.

They devise and implement operational processes and procedures in order to provide reliable and available IT systems to the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, configuration and maintenance of solutions across Intapp Intake, Conflicts and Terms.
  • Translate business and risk requirements into robust technical designs, workflows, forms, rules and system enhancements.
  • Design, build, test and document complex solutions that support efficient, controlled and auditable risk processes.
  • Develop automation tools and workflow improvements that reduce manual effort, increase consistency and improve operational performance.
  • Establish and maintain development, testing, release and documentation standards across Risk Systems and their integrations.
  • Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance to ensure solutions are supportable, secure and aligned with firm standards.

Required Experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience developing, configuring and supporting Intapp Risk and Compliance solutions, particularly Intake, Conflicts and Terms.
  • Strong experience of Elite 3E and its integration with risk, finance and other enterprise systems.
  • Proven experience designing and developing enterprise integrations using Boomi.
  • Strong knowledge of integration architecture, REST and SOAP APIs, event-driven design, authentication, data mapping and transformation, and enterprise application integration patterns.
  • Experience of the software development lifecycle, source control, testing, release management and production support.
  • Demonstrable experience diagnosing complex technical issues across applications, integrations and data flows.
  • Able to convert complex business requirements into clear, pragmatic and supportable technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able to manage competing priorities, work independently and take ownership from design through to operational handover.
  • Collaborative and quality-focused, with a commitment to security, resilience, documentation and continuous improvement.
