Risk Systems Developer
A commodities-focused Alternative Investment fund is looking to hire a Risk Systems Developer to join their business. This is a key hire that will focus on the continued development of the risk systems.
Key Requirements
- Strong Python coding skills alongside proficiency in SQL.
- Ability to manage relationships both internally and externally is a must.
Job Details
This role is full-time, 5-days a week, in the office.
Duties & Experience Required
- 3–5 years in software development, data engineering, ops technology, risk technology, or similar.
- Strong Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and control-oriented workflows.
- Proficient in database querying, ideally MySQL and AWS-hosted databases.
- Strong analytical academic background and structured problem-solving approach.
- Interest in or knowledge of commodity markets, derivatives, trading operations, or investment management is a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work accurately under pressure.
