Tour Director
River – Europe

Role Overview
- Organizing arrivals and transfers to hotel and vessel
- Ensuring smooth transfer operations including luggage and timing
- Assisting guests with lost luggage and coordinating with airport representatives
- Managing guest information documents and vendor vouchers
- Providing local, cultural, and historical commentary during tours and free time
- Handling guest complaints and private excursions
- Coordinating and monitoring all excursions, including audio equipment, local suppliers, and guides.
- Instructing and briefing local guides prior to excursions
- Handling / filing of land reports & daily program
- Offer advice on food/restaurants, shopping, and activities during free time.
- Liaising with Program Director to inform about special guest needs and communicate estimated arrival time and check actual docking location.
- Responsible for providing relevant information about the tour, welcome briefing, and local, cultural, and historic commentary on the coach.

About You
- Graduated education within hotel / tourism industry
- Min. 2 years professional experience in a management position / tour guidance
- International experience / experience on a ship is an advantage
- Excellent English skills, other foreign languages are an advantage (German, Dutch, French, and Italian)
- Service oriented and guest focused
- Excellent management, organizational, and communication skills
- Positive personality, friendly, and neat appearance
- Stress resistance, flexible, problem-solving skills
