Customer Service Coordinator (Readymix) FTC
Birtley | 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We're looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our ReadyMix team in Birtley. You'll play a key role in processing customer orders, coordinating deliveries and ensuring a safe, efficient and customer-focused transport operation.
What you'll be doing
- Receiving and processing ReadyMix concrete orders
- Scheduling deliveries to meet customer requirements
- Providing customers with updates and outstanding service
- Working closely with transport, logistics and production teams
- Coordinating third-party haulage and ensuring compliance standards are met
- Building strong relationships with haulage suppliers and stakeholders
- Supporting medium and long-term planning to meet customer demand
Working Pattern
- Monday - Friday, 7am – 5pm. Rotational Shift Pattern (7-4pm & 8-5pm) Saturday Mornings Rotational if required
What we're looking for
- Experience in customer service, transport, logistics, distribution or route planning
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office (SAP and CRM experience desirable)
- A proactive approach with a desire to learn and improve
