Responsibilities
Position Summary: VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking an Admissions Hospice RN to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience in hospital settings. If you're ready to assist in life-changing procedures while traveling the country, this is your opportunity! Provides nursing services, responds to inquiries and referrals, and addresses urgent and ongoing needs for patients and caregivers. This role supports and advances the organization's mission and philosophy by promoting compassionate, patient-centered excellence in end-of-life care.
Location Details
Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is a historic city located in the southeastern part of the state, known for its deep-rooted Amish culture, charming downtown, and picturesque countryside. Lancaster was the capital of the United States for a day in 1777 during the American Revolution when the Continental Congress temporarily moved there to escape the British forces. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
- Current ACLS certification from an approved vendor required.
- One (1) year of hospital experience required.
Additional Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Hospice, palliative care, admissions, home health, case management, or related nursing experience.
- Experience supporting patients and caregivers through serious illness or end-of-life care.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
