Road Barrier Attendant
We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated Site Assistant to join our vibrant, multi-cultural school. We have the following post available that is fixed term until the end of Summer Term 2027 with the potential for being made permanent after this date.
Road Barrier Attendant (School Streets Initiative)
Location: St Michael's CE Primary School
Hours: Monday to Friday
- Morning Shift: 8:00am to 9:00am
- Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm to 3:30pm
- Opportunity available for applicants who can work mornings only.
Annual salary: NJC Grade 4 Scale Point 4 - 5 (£13.48 per hour) 39 weeks per year

Annual Full Time Equivalent: £26,016
Actual pro rated: £6,015
The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.
The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
