Due to continued success and growth, we’re looking for experienced Roadmarking Operatives to join our team in Odiham, Hampshire.

Company Description

Third Generation Services Ltd is a specialist road marking and surface solutions provider with three generations of experience in roadmaking. The company delivers a wide range of services, including hot applied thermoplastic markings, spray and rolled acrylic, epoxy and MMA applications, and anti-skid surfacing as well as sports court and playground markings.

Role Description

We're currently looking for a Road Marking Operative on a full-time basis to carry out the preparation, application, and maintenance of road markings and related surface treatments.

  • Setting out lines
  • Operating road marking equipment and tools
  • Applying thermoplastic and other materials
  • Assisting with anti-skid surfacing, line removal, and small repairs such as pothole filling

Qualifications

  • Practical skills in using hand tools, small plant, and application equipment for road marking and surface treatments.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions, site plans, and measurements accurately when setting out and applying markings.
  • Sound awareness of health and safety practices, including PPE use, traffic management, and safe handling of materials.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, with a reliable and professional approach to on-site work.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Valid UK driving licence; experience driving commercial vehicles or vans is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in road marking, civil engineering, groundworks, or a related trade is desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, to meet project requirements.
