About the Business
This is a specialist road planing and surface milling contractor, working on some of the most technically demanding sites in the country. It's a premium, specialist operation rather than a volume player, and has nearly quadrupled its machine fleet in five years while keeping one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry. Family-run, with staff who typically stay a decade or more.
The Role
You'll operate W35ri, W100F, W210Xf/Fi, W250Xf/Fi road planers across the UK, carrying out fine milling and surface preparation to a standard most companies can't match. Full training and site inductions are provided, but you'll need genuine hands-on experience to start. Doing this job well means consistently precise work that keeps you in demand for the biggest, most technical sites.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
