Role Overview

The Road Safety Team is seeking a Road Safety Project Officer who will work under the direction of the Road Safety Manager and Senior Road Safety Officer. The successful candidate will deliver road safety education, training, and publicity initiatives in schools and to target groups of the public.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in delivering education and training initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including on-street and at schools and colleges.
  • Ability to use relevant ICT equipment.

Additional Information

  • This post is currently funded until 31st March 2027.
  • Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is a core responsibility of all staff appointed to the Council.
  • Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
