Salary: £45000.00 - 50000.00 Per Annum
45h a week Mon - Fri 8am - 5.30pm
Join the UK’s largest repair group in this fantastic opportunity, as a Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor in the South East region of the UK and take advantage of exceptional company benefits.
This is a very varied role, which will involve working across multiple sites, to support the region during holidays, peak volume, training, any assistance required on site and being a champion for the South East Region. Ideally based in the central area of the region to support Littlehampton, Havant, Southampton and Bournemouth. A company vehicle or car allowance is also included in the package.
Role Overview:
As a proven VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator you will have experience using Audatex, qualified to NVQ level 3 and an ATA / IMI qualification, with a solid bodyshop background. Naturally due to the nature of the job you will hold a full UK Manual Driving Licence.
Responsibilities:
- Estimating/inspecting accident damage vehicles of all makes and marques, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and timeframes.
- Identifying the correct prescribed repair method and preparing, recording and maintaining records of electronic and manual estimates.
- Liaising effectively with insurance companies to obtain their authority to repair the vehicle at the costs estimated.
- Effectively liaising with customers' engineers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology.
- Keeping up to date with all repair methodologies, together with an understanding of different insurers and manufacturers' literature and bulletins.
- Understanding Thatcham Repair Methods and BSi safety standards.
