Robot Programmer (FANUC / R&D)

£40,000 - £50,000 + 10% Pension Contribution + Training + Progression + Site Allowance + Company Benefits

Are you a Robot Programmer with FANUC experience looking to work on cutting-edge robotic solutions tackling some of the UK's most challenging environmental projects?

You'll join a specialist engineering business working alongside major industry partners to develop and operate robotic systems used to help clean up legacy nuclear waste. Full security clearance will be arranged, with training provided to develop your technical expertise.

You will program and operate FANUC robots integrated with laser cutting systems, attend site in Cumbria and support the development of new robotic solutions. With exposure to wider robotics projects, this is an excellent opportunity to build a highly specialised career.

This role would suit a Robot Programmer or Robotics Engineer FANUC experience looking to work on innovative projects with genuine environmental impact.

The Role:

  • Program FANUC robots using CAM-based FANUC Roboguide software
  • Attend customer sites and operate FANUC robotic systems
  • Work with robots integrated into laser cutting machinery
  • Spend up to 10 days per month working in Cumbria, with additional payment
  • Record learning data and produce process reports
  • Assist with the development of new robotic solutions

The Person:

  • Some experience with CAM-based robotic programming systems
  • Robotics, automation or engineering background
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and work in Cumbria
