Job Description
The commissioning engineer sets up the robots, shuttles, elevators, and conveyors at our customers’ locations.
- You will start-up shuttles, elevators, and conveyors at our customers’ locations.
- You are willing to travel. The first projects are in Belgium, but in the future, it can be all around the globe (mostly Europe). You work typically 2 or 3 weeks on-site.
- You are responsible for PLC software (Beckhoff) configuration and live testing.
- You support end users and our integrators with level 1 and level 2 support, both on-site, by telephone, and via remote connection.
- You give training where necessary.
- You will be joining a 24/07 standby service in order to solve problems immediately.
- You are hands-on and are able to make small repairs.

Qualifications
- You have a technical bachelor degree or equivalent through experience.
- Also as a recent graduate you can qualify for this job.
- Projects abroad do not scare you off. You are willing to be flexible and motivated during the long days on-site.
- For some projects you are willing to work at heights or in refrigerated areas.
- Affinity with software is recommended.
- Fluent knowledge of Dutch/English. French is definitely a plus.
- Computer skills: MS Office + Teams.
- You are sociable, eager to learn, driven, and cheerful.
- Customer-friendliness and passion are second nature to you.
