Senior Robotics Simulation Engineer

Location: London (3 to 5 days per week on site)

About the Opportunity

A venture-backed physical AI and robotics firm is transforming construction by automating building manufacturing using modular, containerized robotic production cells. With commercial systems deploying across international markets, the firm operates out of an expansive London R&D and demonstration facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve physics-based simulation environments built in NVIDIA Isaac Sim to model modular robotic production cells.
  • Establish robust asset pipelines translating engineering geometry and CAD models directly into USD.
  • Tune dynamics parameters including joint limits, stiffness, damping, contacts, and friction, diagnosing deviations between simulated and live machines.
  • Interface simulation setups with core robotics software through standard ROS 2 abstractions.
  • Create virtual test suites and automated CI scenarios to validate failure conditions, edge cases, and continuous hardware changes.
  • Bridge sim to real discrepancies that impact engineering decisions, maintaining tight alignment between digital twins and deployed systems.
  • Structure simulation runs into usable datasets and generate synthetic data with domain randomization to assist computer vision development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
