Rockingham Partners | Marketing Manager

Hospitality

Contract: Full-time
Location: Hampshire (hybrid working)
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 DOE

About Rockingham

Rockingham Partners works alongside independent hotels and hotel groups to improve performance in a practical, commercially focused way. Our marketing approach is built around revenue, conversion and business impact - not just aesthetics. We help clients sharpen their story, improve visibility, strengthen direct demand and support the revenue areas that matter most, from rooms and weddings to meetings, events and food-led offers.

About the Role

This is a client-facing marketing role working across Rockingham’s hotel portfolio. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, delivery, coordination and reporting of marketing activity across retained hotel accounts, working closely with our founders and clients in a growing team.

It is a hands-on role for a commercially aware, highly organised marketer who can manage multiple priorities. Activity spans content, website and CMS updates, email marketing, social media, SEO, paid digital campaigns, online reputation, reporting and campaign coordination.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and deliver integrated monthly marketing activity across a portfolio of hotel clients, aligned with commercial priorities, target markets and seasonal demand.
  • Manage client accounts, project plans, deadlines, contracted hours and monthly reporting, keeping activity organised and on track.
  • Update and maintain websites using content management systems (CMS), including landing pages, offers and seasonal campaign content.
  • Plan, create, schedule and publish social media content, including short-form video, community activity, paid social campaigns and creator or influencer coordination.
  • Build, segment and deliver email marketing campaigns using email marketing and CRM platforms, with a focus on engagement and conversion.
  • Manage online business listings, review and reputation channels, ensuring information, imagery and responses remain accurate and on brand.
  • Apply on-page SEO best practice, monitor organic search performance and identify opportunities to improve visibility, rankings and website traffic.
  • Support paid digital marketing across search and social channels, coordinating campaign activity, budgets, creative and performance reporting.
  • Track website and campaign performance using analytics and reporting platforms, turning data into clear, commercially focused recommendations.
  • Build trusted client relationships and develop a strong understanding of each hotel’s business objectives, revenue priorities and target audiences.
  • Use appropriate AI-assisted marketing tools to improve efficiency in research, planning and delivery while maintaining strong editorial and brand standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
