About The Service
The Over to YOUth project is part of SEUPB’s Youth Programme under Theme 3.2 “Empowering & Investing in Our Young People.” This is a cross-border initiative designed to support disadvantaged & marginalized youth aged 14-24 years across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland. Our aim is to engage 750 individuals in the project.
The project will involve recruiting cohorts of young people who will engage in capacity building 6-month interventions with intensive weekly engagement across 3-4 days a week, providing opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to share the same space and learn from each other as an effective way to eliminate prejudice and promote mutual respect.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
