We're hiring a Romanian-speaking Student Recruitment Consultant to work remotely, in their own communities, placing UK-based adults onto university degree programmes.
This role is right for you if you already know people who'd go to university if someone showed them how.
About Omega Partners
We're a UK student recruitment consultancy. We work with university and college partners to place UK-based adults onto foundation year and undergraduate degree programmes: people who left school without A-levels, who've been working for some years, and who assumed university was closed to them.
It isn't. Student Finance covers the fees. Foundation year routes don't require A-levels. One day a week on campus, and they can keep working.
The Role
Adults in their thirties and forties. Working in warehouses, care homes, factories, driving. Settled or pre-settled status. Capable, ambitious, and convinced higher education isn't for people like them because nobody has ever told them otherwise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Your job is to tell them, and then to get them there.
Concretely:
- Talking to people in your own community about going to university.
- Explaining how it works.
- Helping them apply.
- Staying with them until they're enrolled.
Your network, your language, your community, your hours.
Basic Salary
£24,000 basic salary, rising to £30,000.
Commission
£600 for every student who enrols. You're paid commission across the year as Student Finance instalments come in.
Why Omega Partners?
- More places to put students. We work across multiple university and college partners, different campuses, different courses, different entry routes. If you can only offer two providers, you lose everyone who doesn't fit them. If you can offer six, you place people you'd otherwise have to turn away, out of the same conversations you're already having.
- Work from your own home. Our expert Admissions Team will handle end-to-end enrolment. You only need to recruit people who want to study.

What You Need
- Fluent Romanian. You don't need perfect English to be excellent at this job.
- Real connections in the Romanian-speaking community in the UK. This is the main thing we're looking for.
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Organised enough to keep track of twenty applications at once.
- Honest. We're regulated and our partners audit us. We would rather place fewer students properly than more of them badly.
No degree required.
If you're already doing this at another agency, we'd like to talk. Bring your network, place more of it. If you've never done it but a lot of people in your community trust you and ask your advice, we'd like to talk too.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
