Roof Felter - Wanted - Immediate Start!

Are you an experienced Roof Felter?
Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Roof Felter to join a professional construction team on a 2-week project in Leeds. This is a site-based role requiring a reliable, skilled individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team. You will be responsible for carrying out roofing and felt installation works to a high standard, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices throughout the project.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Experience in roofing and felt installation
- Relevant CSCS card
- Good knowledge of roofing health and safety requirements
Desirable:
- Relevant roofing qualifications or trade certificates
- Previous experience working on commercial or construction sites
- Own tools and relevant PPE
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out roofing felt installation and associated roofing works to a high standard.
- Prepare roof surfaces before applying felt, ensuring they are clean, dry, secure, and suitable for installation.
- Measure, cut, and install roofing felt accurately in accordance with project specifications.
- Ensure felt is correctly positioned, secured, and sealed to provide a weatherproof finish.
- Work with roofing materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the required quality and specification.
- Identify and report any defects, damaged materials, or issues with the roof to the Site Manager.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy working area throughout the project.
- Follow all site rules, method statements, risk assessments, and health and safety procedures.
- Liaise effectively with the Site Manager and other trades on site to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance throughout the 2-week project.
- Take care when working at height and use appropriate access equipment and fall-protection measures as required.
- Assist with other reasonable roofing duties as directed by the Site Manager.
- Complete all works within the agreed project timescales while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are used correctly and stored safely.

As Roof Felter, you will also be expected to:
- Complete all required paperwork accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Ensure all documentation is submitted to Head Office no later than the following Monday after works are completed.
- Send all data to the Operations Assistant in the correct format in line with company standards.
Health, Safety & Compliance
All employees are required to:
- Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice.
- Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legislation.
- Co-operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are always met.
