Roofer / Liquid Waterproofing Operative
Location: Worcester / UK-wide projects
Employment: Full-time, permanent
Work pattern: Site-based / regular travel and working away from home
TapZenn is recruiting on behalf of a specialist roofing and waterproofing contractor working on commercial and industrial projects across the UK.
We are looking for experienced Roofers / Roofing Operatives to join the team, with the role focusing on cold-applied liquid waterproofing systems.
The Role
You will work on commercial and industrial roofing projects, carrying out waterproofing and roofing installation work. Duties may include:
- Preparing and cleaning roof surfaces
- Applying cold-applied liquid waterproofing systems
- Applying primers, coatings and reinforcement systems
- Carrying out roofing and waterproofing details
- Working safely at height
- Using hand and power tools
- Working as part of a site team
- Following site specifications, health & safety procedures and quality standards
- Travelling to projects across the UK
- Staying away from home during projects when required

Essential Requirements
- Previous roofing, waterproofing or relevant construction experience
- Valid CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working at height
- Good understanding of construction-site health & safety
- Willingness to travel and work away from home
- Reliable and professional approach to work

Desirable Experience
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
- Liquid-applied roofing
- Liquid waterproofing
- Flat roofing
- Roof coatings
- GRP / fibreglass roofing
- Roofing membranes
- Waterproofing systems
- Commercial or industrial roofing
Relevant roofing qualifications, NVQs, City & Guilds or manufacturer training are advantageous but practical experience is also highly valued.
