Roofer Opportunity in Plymouth

Our Plymouth team is looking for a skilled Roofer to join our growing Refurbishments and Projects business, known internally as Capital Works. Covering Plymouth and the wider Devon area, you’ll carry out pitched and flat roofing repairs in customers’ homes while supporting a varied portfolio of retrofit, fire risk assessment (FRA) and planned social housing projects.

Grow your skills with us. Our broad range of workstreams creates plenty of opportunities to develop your expertise and gain further qualifications. Experience fitting solar panels would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential—we can support you with solar PV training and the associated certification.

We’d love to hear from skilled roofers who take pride in their work and are passionate about making a positive difference to people’s homes and lives.

What we offer

  • Competitive basic salary: £35,530 for a 39-hour working week
  • On-target earnings: up to £39,586 through bonus and overtime
  • Company van and fuel card
  • Uniform and PPE provided
  • Paid holiday, pension contributions and life insurance
  • Free legal and financial advice, plus free counselling through Lighthouse Charity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
