Role Description
This is a full-time position for an experienced roofing Estimator. The role involves completing site surveys and inspections to complete tender packages. Pricing both Gables generated enquiries as well as incoming tenders working to agreed objectives as set out in the company business / sales plan. Effectively communicate with Gables Management, team members and clients.
Duties
- Manage incoming tenders
- Conduct site surveys and inspections to gather information for accurate estimating.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on specifications and drawings.
- Analyse project requirements and collaborate with project managers to assess timelines and resources needed.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, including changes and adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work to agreed sales objectives.

Skills
- Experience of flat and pitched roofing system installations.
- Knowledge of roofing systems and construction industry practices.
- Experience in conducting site surveys and project cost estimations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to team members and clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office to create documentation and maintain existing databases.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all documentation produced.
- Full clean driving licence.
