Housekeeping - The Ickworth
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £12.71 per hour plus generous service charge and great benefits
The Ickworth, part of Luxury Family Hotels, is entering an exciting new era. Join our team as Room Attendant and play your part in shaping the next chapter of this much-loved Suffolk retreat.

The Role
Working alongside a friendly and motivated team you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests experience the epitome of comfort and cleanliness during their stay.
This is a permanent position at 32 hours per week, which includes weekends, at an hourly rate of £12.71 per hour plus service charge.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high quality room and public area cleans: You will work as part of the housekeeping team to ensure all assigned bedrooms and public areas are turned around and cleaned to the highest standard. This will include a full restock of all in-room guest amenities. You will be asked to conduct thorough deep cleans on occasion.
- Ensure a safe environment for our guests: You will maintain and check all equipment regularly and report any defects. Ensure all equipment and chemicals are used correctly as per manufacturer instructions.
- Make long-lasting unique memories: We welcome your charisma and personality and encourage you to create memories and relationships with our guests – especially the littlest ones!

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
- Charisma, Engaging personality, and passion for hospitality and providing great service to our guests.
- A keen eye for detail, working to tight timeframes, and enjoying a physical job role
- Ability to interact with all guests and ability to have fun and engage with our younger guests.
- Previous experience in housekeeping is desirable, but full training will be given.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
