Job Description

At Fairmont St Andrews, our Housekeeping team plays an incredibly important part in creating the five-star experience our guests know and love.

We are looking for friendly, hardworking and detail-focused Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping team and help ensure our guest bedrooms are beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and ready to welcome our guests.

Whether you're experienced in Housekeeping or looking to begin your career in hospitality, we'll give you the training and support you need to succeed.

What you'll be doing

As a Room Attendant, you'll take pride in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for every guest. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to our five-star Fairmont standards.
  • Ensuring rooms are beautifully presented and fully prepared for arriving and staying guests.
  • Replenishing guest amenities, linen and supplies.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout your allocated areas.
  • Responding to guest requests in a friendly, professional and discreet manner.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or lost property through the appropriate channels.
  • Working closely with your Housekeeping colleagues and other departments to provide a seamless guest experience.
  • Being knowledgeable about the resort, its facilities and services so you can assist guests when required.
  • Supporting and welcoming new colleagues as they learn our Housekeeping standards.
  • Following all Health & Safety, hygiene and hotel procedures.
  • Taking pride in ensuring our guests always come first.

Who we're looking for

You don't necessarily need previous Housekeeping experience – what's most important to us is your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn. This is a role which will include competitive salary

You'll be someone who:

  • Takes pride in their work and has great attention to detail.

  • Is reliable, organised and able to manage their time effectively.
