Room Attendant

Location: Mullion, Cornwall, United Kingdom

Position: Full and part time available, Permanent

Salary: £8.00 to £12.71 per hour

Join our Luxury Hotel Management team nestled in the beautiful coastal village of Mullion, Cornwall. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service and attention to detail. As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in upholding our high standards of cleanliness and comfort that keep our guests coming back.

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable, motivated Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms and public areas. Your dedication to quality and efficiency will contribute significantly to the overall guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of our luxury hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
  • Ensure bathrooms are spotless and fully stocked with toiletries.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to the management team.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as corridors, lounges, and stairways.
  • Handle guest requests courteously and promptly, enhancing their stay experience.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with housekeeping and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience in the catering & hospitality sector is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic English proficiency to understand instructions and interact with guests.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as required.
